When Scott gets involved, it can certainly go high. High, as in "up the mountain". After all, the company history started with a revolutionary ski pole. The year was 1958 and an aluminum ski pole replaced the previous versions made of bamboo or steel. The manufacturer? Of course, Scott. The success was so great, a company was quickly founded to fully exploit the huge existing inventive potential. The brainchild initially had its headquarters in the USA, exactly 20 years later they took the plunge across the great pond to conquer the European market as well.
